In the city centre

The  “Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II” is one of the city treasures and to dine here is something special.  It isn’t cheap ofcourse but a few of our guests have recommended the restaurant “Galleria”.

At “Lievito madre al Duomo”, in Largo Corsia dei Servi, they prepare daily only 400 pizzas and no more. All ingredients arrive directly from Naples. Service starts at 7 p.m.

For a light lunch “That’s vapore”, in Corso di Porta Vittoria 5, just in front of the 73 bus and 27 tram stop. Cooksteamed baskets with pasta-rice-vegetables-fish-meat.

“Caffè della Pusterla”, via De Amicis 22.   An old large cafeteria where you will find newspapers from all the world and good food.

“La Vecchia Latteria”, via Unione 6, close to Piazza Duomo,  is a small vegetarian restaurant. You have to arrive early to find a seat.

“Trattoria milanese”, via Santa Marta 11, a good, old fashioned Italian restaurant, white tablecloths, local traditional dishes.
